Any changes will apply to the use of the statesidemeats.co.uk website after we have given notice.

We are only able to deliver to mainland UK addresses at the moment and a delivery charge of £7.90 applies for all orders.

To register a customer account on www.statesidemeats.co.uk you must be over eighteen (18) years of age.
You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete.
You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering by updating your personal details.
We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately at our reasonable discretion or if you breach any of your obligations under these Terms and Conditions.
When you register your details, you will automatically be added into our mailing list. If you decide you do not wish to receive our mailings, please contact us to be removed from our mailing list.
Each registration is for a single user only. We do not permit you to share your user name and password with any other person.
Responsibility for the security of any passwords issued rests with you and you will be responsible for all activities and orders that occur or are submitted under your password.
If you know or suspect that someone else knows your password you should notify us by contacting us immediately.
We may revise these terms and conditions from time-to-time. Please check this page regularly to ensure you are familiar with the current version.
These terms and conditions, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your use of our website, and supersede all previous agreements in respect of your use of this website.
Exclusion of Services
The services provided by the www.statesidemeats.co.uk website do not include the provision of computer or other necessary equipment or software to access the alexmitchellbutchers.com website. To use the alexmitchellbutchers.com site you will require Internet connectivity and appropriate telecommunication links. We shall not be liable for any telephone or other costs that you may incur.
Where applicable, all our prices include VAT at the current rates. We always endeavour to provide you with consistency of cuts, weights and sizes. Since our butchers cut our meat by hand, they may have to cut slightly over or under your ordered weight in order to ensure you get the best quality. We will aim to get the final order as close to your required weight and price according.
Market prices may fluctuate, therefore, our prices are reviewed from time to time as we consider necessary.
You are deemed to place an order with us by completing our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the products you have ordered.
Our acceptance of an order takes place when you agree to our terms and conditions and submit the order and we receive payment confirmation from our Payment Gateway. We will issue a refund when we have been notified that your order has been declined or we are unable to supply.
Please note that if your payment method is declined by our Payment Gateway, your order will not be accepted by us.
All offers are subject to availability and while stocks last.
We may refuse to accept an order:
(a) where goods are not available;
(b) where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;
(c) if there has been a pricing or product description error; or
(d) if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.
You must ensure that either you or your representative, whom you authorize to sign on your behalf upon delivery of your order, is at your nominated delivery address.
If for any reason you or your representative is unable to be present at the delivery address, you must contact our online ordering department by email at firstname.lastname@example.org by 5pm on the day before delivery, or by telephone on 01299 877180.
If we are unable to deliver to you, due to you or your representative not being present or available at the agreed delivery address, we reserve the right to withhold a non-refundable failed delivery fee, which can be up to 50% of the order value.
Please note that delivery is only completed when your order is handed over to you or your representative in person by us and signed for. This means that we are unable to leave your order anywhere else, for example in a garage or wheelie bin etc
A delivery charge may apply to your order, depending on your postcode and value of your order. The charge is subject to any special offer we may apply and may change at any time.
On the occasion that severe weather is adversely affecting deliveries, you may be required to collect your order.
Cancellation and Returns Policy
If you wish to cancel all or part of your order, you must notify us by email to email@example.com before 12pm on the day prior to your delivery day. Where certain items in your order were ordered or made especially for you, we reserve the right to withhold a 50% non-refundable deposit on each of those items.
Any costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by you.
Upon receipt of any returned goods, which we have agreed to accept back, we will give you a full refund of the amount paid for such goods, or an exchange credit as required.
The right to return goods will not apply in the following circumstances: –
(a) in the event that the product has been used
(b) to any products that by their nature have a limited lifespan, such as fresh food
The provisions of this clause do not affect your statutory rights.

We endeavour to ensure that this website is normally available 24 hours a day, however, access to this website may be temporarilty suspended without notice in the event of system failure, or when essential maintenance is required. We will not be liable if for any reason this website is unavailable at any time or for any period.
